Re: bundle - 09/04/21 11:42 AM

So far, these seem like decent ornaments and not the Baby's First or other ornaments we all feared they'd be.

Of course, I would also have anything I was interested in with these sets, which is why I am not that interested in getting a set.

My order is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. I did order the bundle and I will post here what I receive. It's great to see what people have received in their bundles already!

Re: bundle - 09/05/21 01:43 PM

I've heard of some getting good bundles and some getting bad bundles.

All I'm hoping for is one good ornament out of the three. If a second one is an OK ornament, that would be icing on the cake.

Re: bundle - 09/06/21 03:36 PM

Thanks, Susan! I'm in all three of those groups. Must have just missed the info.

Re: bundle - 09/06/21 06:44 PM

I didn't buy the bundle because:
1) I have so many ornaments already.
2) I never get the good ones.
3) I decided I'd rather spend the $39 on something I knew what I was getting.

My niece bought a bundle. This is what she got:
2015 Fun in the Sun Kringle and Kris event piece
2017 Inside Story #2
and, the dreaded 1984 Baby Boy's First Christmas (she was born in 1992)

I doubt she had the first two ornaments since she's a new collector but I'm sure the third one falls in the clunker category for her.

She can trade the ones she doesn't want or all of them.

Re: bundle - 09/06/21 07:38 PM

there is a list of everything, so far, that has been shown on facebook, of what has been in the bundle.

Re: bundle - 09/06/21 10:20 PM

While I knew that the bundle would be a dud, I bought one in hopes that I'd be wrong. I wasn't wrong...1989 Chris Mouse Cookout in a torn box (loose in the box with a little hanging tag with the number 389), 1995 Fabulous Decade, 2010 KOC Christmas Window.

Congratulations to those of you who got something good.

I decided at the last minute to buy a mystery bundle. From what I've seen so far, I'm not getting a good feeling I will be getting anything I want.

I noticed that the reward points are showing in my account for the order that has shipped.

I think the Chris Mouse and Window are good ones. I have both of them, but I still think they are good ones. Fabulous Decade, hmm?

I'm expecting my box Wednesday.

My repaints and bundle left KC on Sunday, are scheduled for a delivery today, no other updates. I find it hard to believe it coming today.

Re: bundle - 09/07/21 05:24 PM

I got my bundle today.

Nice but not for someone that has collected since 1987.
I purchased the KOC limited edition 1989 Noelle the year it came out.

I got the same monthly 2017 cookie cutter at the KC convention in a mystery bag . It is the 6th Summer Vacation

THe A sweet treat gingerbread man from 2011 was some kind of free promo ornament.

Starting to dread getting mine... FedEx just picked it up so should be here Thursday.

Angela, a signed ornament is a nice surprise. I haven't heard of anyone getting one.

Of course some people may just look at the box and not open it.

I received my bundle today and I'm very happy with what I got...

2017 KOC EVENT - Mischievous Kitten Repaint
2014 Club Exclusive - Santa's Grandfather Clock
1988 - Baby's First Christmas - Rocking Horse

Re: bundle - 09/08/21 05:02 PM

Have seen posts from other bundles of things I would've loved to have received. Instead, I got 2 that I already have and an old one from a series I didn't collect.

2017 Cookie Cutter Mouse # 3 (Easter)
2015 Event Rustic Santas
1992 Hark It's Herald.

Win some, lose some. Definitely lost this one! On a positive note, I totally love all of my event repaints...

Re: bundle - 09/09/21 07:50 AM

Received my vault bundle yesterday.

-2019 Mrs Santa - Event Exclusive
-2015 Fun In The Sun - Kringle & Kris - Event Exclusive
-1983 Thimble Elf #6

#1 - Happy I didn't get a BFC or a FCT.
#2 - Happy I didn't have any of these.
#3 - Probably would not have bought any of these, so I'm out $40 if I look at one way, but if I sell or trade them they have a estimated $75 total value.

Re: bundle - 09/09/21 06:26 PM

Well, mine couldn't be worse in terms of my interests:

1987 Godchild
2017 Cookie Cutter Spring
2015 Rustic Santas

I will never ever do this again.

From what I've seen. The horrors of what collectors got well out ways the gems.

Re: bundle - 09/10/21 08:06 AM

I think I got quite lucky with what I received in the Mystery Bundle:

2015 Hallmark KOC Event "Father Christmas" repaint
2017 Hallmark KOC Event "Beautiful Birdhouse" repaint (I think this was a game prize)
1984 Cinnamon Bear #2 (porcelain)

Thought it rather ironic to receive the bear on National Teddy Bear Day! wink

And, I did not have the Beautiful Birdhouse repaint, so very happy with that one.

For those of us who do not have Facebook, what are the best "gem" ornaments people are receiving in their mystery bundles??? Are any of them repaints that were on the hand-written giant boards at the events in Kansas City (Such as a Mary's Angel)? Inquiring minds would love to know! smile

2015 Keepsake Kustoms #1 event repaint--1932 Ford
2017 Cookie Cutter Through the Year #4--Spring
1986 Here Comes Santa #8--Kringle's Kool Treats

IMO, if they are going to include Baby's First Christmas, First Christmas Together, Son, Daughter, etc. ornaments, they should have given 5 ornaments for the $40.

I got the Tree Trimmers Event Ornament - I looked on Ebay and it is listed at $400.......so that bundle was worth it!!!

YES SOMEONE got the 1991 KC event Santa, many people have received the 2019 EVENT LIGHTED house that was signed by all the artist.
Many signing pieces- Armoire, Workbench, Sink.
I've seen a few KC event repaint prizes from 2019- North Pole elf with Gold bow, Frosty friends, and the beer stein. Event repainted fire trucks maybe 2005 vintage.
I believe 2015 has the most left overs in event product and prizes.

1986 Twelve Days of Christmas #3 - Three French Hens - ho hum...
2017 Cookie Cutter Summer - have it...
2015 Season's Treatings Event Repaint - selling for $100 on Ebay!!!

Re: bundle - 09/10/21 11:17 PM

other goodies seen in bundles:

2001 Ready Reindeer repaint from the event cancelled by 9/11- 2 different people got this one.

2005 Kris and the Kringles COLORWAY - Event Register to Win - RARE only 96 made- so far three of this one

Re: bundle - 09/11/21 01:41 AM

For my bundle, I really didn't care what I got because I have so many ornaments to begin with. I have the CC and Car so I traded the car for one I wanted and told someone if she started collecting the seasonal cookie cutters I would give her that one.

This is my bundle.

Cookie Cutter Vacation
1994 Peek a boo pup
2015 1932 Ford Custom repaint

One thing I would have like it to get some of the old ball ornaments. Someone is sending me some and I traded the car for one.

Thank you, Susan, for posting some of the RARE "gem" ornaments that people are receiving in their bundles!! smile

WOW!! That is something to have ones worth several hundred dollars, such as the 2019 KOC Event Frosty Friends, North Pole Tree Trimmers, and Beer Stein that were game prizes!

Interesting to hear your take on it that sooooo many 2015 KOC Event product and prizes have been in the bundles.

And, CONGRATULATIONS to Arlene (RJingle) on getting one of those "gold bow" North Pole Tree Trimmers repaints! smile

I'm still very happy with the 2017 Hallmark KOC Event "Beautiful Birdhouse" repaints! grin

Re: bundle - 09/11/21 10:36 AM

I think the 2005 Kris and the Kringle's repaint is the top prize.

Many other repaints and some event exclusives are nice treats too.

My sister got her bundle Friday:

1992 Chris Mouse Tales #8
2015 Snowball and Tuxedo 15th Anniversary event repaint
2017 Lavender Fairy event repaint (selling on eBay between $126.00 and $155.00--on secondary market site at $249.95)

There were actually some people who wanted these for the memories. And I think those who did, were able to get them.

I did not order a bundle for various reasons--owning lots of ornaments, my debut list is $$, etc. However, I would like to have the card that came with the bundle if someone is not keeping it? PM to me works fine. TIA

Re: bundle - 09/14/21 08:54 AM

I am thrilled with my bundle. I got the Dollhouse, Harley Quinn, and a part of the acrylic 12 days of Christmas. Didn't truly appreciate Harley until I took her out of the box and saw the details in her fish nets and her tattoos. My daughter was tickled with her.

Re: bundle - 09/14/21 11:50 AM

One person got the 2017 repaint of Mary's Angels and the repaint of the Ready Reindeer both values at over $700. I emailed Hallmark and said I thought it was not right that one person would get $1500 worth of ornaments and others not even $20 in ornaments is just not fair.

Re: bundle - 09/14/21 11:58 AM

I agree with you. It makes you wonder about how they even prepared the boxes. There have been so many people who had orders that were wrong. So sad to be so disappointed.

Re: bundle - 10/01/21 10:28 AM

I was happy with my bundle since I did get an Event repaint that I did not have...the 2017 Mischievous Kittens...nice addition to my series!

I also got the 5th in the Angels Around the World...Mexico...already have it but may come in handy someday.

The third ornament was St Nicholas from the 1995 Christmas Visitors. For me, this was a little God wink. My sister and I are reading about the early Church and we had just finished reading about the Council of Nicaea when my flash purchases arrived a few days later. St Nicholas had actually attended this first Ecumenical Council back in 325.

Re: bundle - 10/01/21 11:11 AM

I was on the fence about my bundle but Hallmark is making it right. I received a mini, the Heaven and nature sing ball, and the Snowball and Tuxedo event repaint. I traded the ball on facebook for an ornament on my archive wishlist.

While in that group, I discovered minis were not to be sent so I contacted facebook. I was going to trade the snowball and tuxedo ornament but seen it was broken before shipping as well.

Hallmark is sending two unknown replacements so who knows what they will be. Keeping my fingers crossed. I would love to get the #1 Brilliant butterflies but that is highly unlikely since I didn't see a single bundle with it.

I would probably do it again as I liked the thrill of it but it would also depend on cost and my overall collecting habit at the time of the offer.
