fab5friend fab5friend Elf VP Registered: 08/17/99 Posts: 1155 Loc: Houston, TX	The address on Harbor Blvd caught my eye and mapquest shows this as being really close to Disneyland. I didn't realize that Garden Grove was so close to Anaheim. Do you know if they normally have a Hallmark show in this area at this time of the year? I'll ask if we have dates yet for the 2010 show. Our show organizer usually announces the next year's show during the event, so she's probably working on finalizing details now. It is very close to Disneyland - should make for a fun trip! Diana* Diana* Santa's Helper Registered: 04/23/99 Posts: 7848 Loc: Pasadena, CA USA	Our show chair wasn't able to attend our December meeting, so I didn't get an answer to whether we have dates lined up 2010...stay tuned for more info! Alan, there is no event the evening prior. This is a secondary market show run by a Hallmark local club, not hosted by Hallmark. Many of the sellers are club members, although there are quite a few others who are not club members that have bought table space. Some of the club member sellers are collectors that may possibly be interested in trading/swapping. I think the more business-type dealers would mainly be interested in selling, but you never know until you ask. The mix of different types of sellers makes for a fun show to attend. You can pick up real bargains from folks that are interested in clearing out some space, you can see some really rare and special pieces from the long-term secondary dealers. Some sellers carry other items like Beanie Babies, Disneyana, Barbie, Snoopy etc. _________________________ "Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen."

I had hoped to meet some online friends today there. If anybody goes, please write and let me know how it was. I picked several miniature ornaments, that were missing from the my collection. Even, the elusive elf tappers were available! I didn't stay very long; Sunday was a beautiful sunny day with the temperature in the 80s. $\:\)$

Hi Theresa, I posted the date of the next show on its own thread, but here it is for handy reference: Sunday, January 10, 2010. We hope to have it at the same location, very close to Disneyland. At our local club meeting last night we were told that the contracts are being written and nothing is firm until they are complete. Full information will be listed as soon as everything is confirmed. Hope you can join us! What could make for a better weekend than Hallmark and Disneyland? $\:\)$
