Well isn't that special! Especially for those of us who bought one back at October Debut and not at $9.95 either.

Richard, that is the way things go in this World.

If we did not buy ours, they might have been sold out. That is the way it goes for me. LOL

I was speaking with the ladies at my local hallmark store last night regarding the snoopy and woodstock with the piano plush. They said that the price of $9.95 will only be good until noon on Friday. I said that I was willing to have paid the higher price to not have to venture out on the day after Thanksgiving. I am just happy to have it and if it goes on sale after I buy it, that's the chance I take. I look at it the same way as I look at the ornaments that are on sale after Christmas. If I always wait until they go on sale, I may not get a favorite of mine. I just prefer to buy it when I see it so I don't miss out on those items I really want. Anyway, just my opinion. :-)

Angela, I think you read a lot more into my post then you should have. My post wasn't meant as a complaint about having paid full price and then it was to be offered at a reduced price later on and it wasn't meant to be a post that I should have waited to purchase mine at a special price. Was just a general statement and was meant to be on the humorous side more than anything. As a collector of Hallmark and Snoopy, I was more then willing to pay full price to have my Plush Snoopy. If I had wanted a good deal on my Plush Snoopy, I probably would have waited until after Christmas and take it a chance; but, I didn't want to.

Don't care. There are so many they'll be leftover after Christmas at this rate. I don't like singing plush anyways.

Hallmark could you know, not have so many promotions. With a lot of promotions in a bad economy, people pick and choose which they want, and this happens. There are way too many special offers at the stores.

The good part is that if people want to give them as gifts, it's a nice price. I'm working on Black Friday (I'm a seasonal cashier this year at Toys 'R Us). I've never shopped on Black Friday anyway.

Ok, I understand. I didn't mean to come across as believing you were complaining -- if so, I do apologize for that. I was just stating my opinion on the subject. :-)

I just hope that everyone who wants one can get one.

Thanks for an interesting conversation. That's why I enjoy this board - there are always lots of different opinions and information out there.

Totally understandable Angela! I also didn't mean my post to be as harsh as it may have sounded either!

I feel for you luckdragon, having to work Black Friday and at a toy store no less!!!

I also think that these are going to be plentiful after Christmas. Every store has so many of them available; however, at the $9.99 price I may talk mom into buying one for her sister who likes Snooopy. Also, we've been buying the Snowman Plush for my sister's stepdaughter every year; we may just have to buy her this one (as the snowmen were discontinued this year)

Hmmm. I must come from a really different backgroud because I didn't read complaining in that. \:\)

When I was at Hallmark a few days ago, they still had a lot of the piano Snoopy so it will be a good opportunity for them to unload. I believe I paid $14.95 with purchase but don't recall the original price. Was is $29.95? Anyway, I'm thinking there won't be much Christmas left in the store at all after the Snoopys are gone. This is very different from years past.

With my 5.00 coupon in hand, I went in a store and said "it's too bad Snoopy isn't 9.95 today", as there's the possibility of ice on Friday. About 2 minutes later she came back and said they'd be happy to honor the price today! So for less than 5.00 I picked up the Snoopy. - Karen

Yes, Stacey, they were originally $29.95, on Sale at Premiere for $14.95 with the purchase of three cards.

OT on musical plush toys. I went to a Mall across Town with my Daughter after we had lunch in the area. Last year, I won two Buffet Coupons at a Christmas Party. Since my Husband is not keen on Chinese and my Daughter was either too sick during her pregnancy or was unable to after due to appointments. Today just happened to be one of her better days off from work.

My Daughter changed her mind and decided to have a picture taken of her Son with Santa in the Mall. The area where Santa is, is in front of Ambassador Cards, so I "had" to check it out. There was an adorable musical plush with three chipmunks sitting on a log for half price, total $20 singing "Up On The Rooftop". My Grandson (will be 6 months next week) loved it when I put it in his stroller while waiting in line for Santa. I even had a few others in line wanting to know where I bought it.

I purchased the musical Hallmark plush toys for the other Grandchildren in years past and I could not resist this one.

Do you have a picture of the chipmunks? They sound cute! - Karen

Well, I stopped off at the Hallmark store at the mall this morning here in Mankato and they had not heard of this special. So, I called up my local club sponsor's in Duluth and they had the same story that they hadn't heard about a promotion like that.

Bummer!

They had a sign just as you walked into the Hallmark at the mall. This was a corp store so maybe only the corp stores are doing it.

That very well could be Marilyn! Hadn't thought about that. There isn't any corporate Hallmark stores in my area (there may be one in the Cities???)

I read the email so fast I thought it was all stores. I'm especially glad that the store sold it to me early.

I picked up the Rodney hummer puppet today. Are all the Rodney and Rhonda plushes the same ones from last year, besides the puppet? I don't have mine out, but they look the same. -Karen
