I never watch QVC but as I was changing channels I heard "Christmas in July!". Anyway, I've had qvc on all day and am listening/watching as I do things around the house. I even went to their website to see what I might have missed! I am soooo ready to decorate!
Anyone else watching?? Anyone buy anything? Anyone buy anything in the past?

I keep looking at the Bethlehem Lights battery operated items. Some things didn't get good reviews though.
I believe QVC is doing "C'mas in July" all weekend. There are really some nice things! At least it looks like it. Some things look a little cheap though too. I can't believe I'm watching this..... Ohhhhh they have Mr. Christmas Animated Symphony of Bells Music Box on now! That's different.
ok, I need to snap out of this.........

I haven't been watching but I did buy the TSV (Today's Special Value for you non-Qer's!)Christmas tree. I hope it lives up to the demo. It has all the cording for the lights in the center tube so you just put the three sections together and plug the cord at the bottom into your wall socket and - Voila! - it lights up! And it supposedly doesn't need much, if any, "fluffing". It's supposed to be pretty much ready right out of the box. They had a demure lady put the thing together and it took her 20 seconds. Sounds like my kind of tree! If I don't like it I can return it any time between now and Jan 31, 2011 for a full refund including shipping and handling. I figured I'd give it a try. I am a QVCaholic anyway. I've been buying from them for years. They have great customer service and if I don't like something (a rarity) back it goes! If this tree does work as it should it'll give me a lot more time to spend putting my Hallmark ornies on it! I can't wait to get it.

My daughter and I both bought two each of the Bethlehem lights 5' urn Christmas trees to place on our porch entrances. She got the mulit colored and I got the clear bulbs.
We have gone through two Christmas seasons and we love them. She bought the two of the table top stacked bulb trees today.
I buy all of my leather jackets from there also, great price and better quality than in the Dept. Stores for the money.
I buy from them for a lot of my gift giving.... I do love qvc.

Mary Jo~ I saw those. They looked nice. What a great idea with the cord! If I didn't already have enough trees I'd probably consider one of those.
Mistletoad~ I saw the urns too. Bethlehem Lights have alot of things I like. I was debating about the topiary urns. I've never ordered from QVC so it's good to hear they have quality items. I can see where watching QVC could be a habit! I'll be checking out their website again this weekend.
decisions, decisions....

Nothing against QVC or their products, but the only time that I watch QVC is as a sleep-inducer on those nights I can't sleep. It never fails to put me under having to listen to someone talk on and on about a product for a while.

Speaking of Christmas in July, does anyone remember back in the early days of cable when channels like TBS would have Christmas in July and show Christmas movies and Christmas-themed episodes of shows like Brady Bunch and Andy Griffith? That was great Christmas in July programming.

The only time I watch QVC is during the Christmas In July weekend. I bought the Mark Klaus Nativity flame less votive holder. His other sculptures have gotten great reviews from last year. He looks and acts like Santa Claus lol! I have bought their Christmas Temptations ovenware pieces. They are beautiful and hold up to the claims that the presenters make. The pattern I purchased has been discontinued..Home Town Christmas. In fact I baked Gingerbread in the loaf baker last night!! Yummy!

I have been watching on and off when my hubby is not around! I have bought from QVC for years and have never been disappointed. I love that cordless tree idea, don't need any more trees, but that sure would simplify tree trimming. I bought one of the Lenox night lights for a gift.

My daughter says she watches QVC in bed as well, it puts her to sleep!

I bought one set of the cordless LED (multi) lights. My husband and a friend built a new mantle and shelves on each side of our fireplace. They didn't leave an outlet near by for me to put lights around the garland.I love lights on my mantle at Christmas. This seemed like a great solution. I felt they were pretty expensive, so I only ordered one. I don't work and my husband lost his job two months ago. There are some really nice items this year. I only watch QVC in July.

It sounds like you all got some neat things!

I need the t.v. on to fall asleep and QVC is what I had on last night. I didn't see much as I was exhausted and fell asleep quickly.

I bought the 2 quart casserole dish (with snow flakes) and comes with a stand and the insulated tote and then a package of 25 gift boxes with the Christmas paper cut to fit the boxes. No scissors or tape needed. Ha ha

I kept looking at that dish myself. If I really cooked that much I probably would've bought it. I liked everything about it. The color red with the snowflakes, the handles on the stand, how the handles inside the tote keep the lid in place, and the fact that the tote itself was embroidered. I believe it was a non stick dish too. Very nice!
Kathy~ great wedding gift!!

I watched all weekend I got the 6' urn tree to put in my living room..and one of the Mr. Snowman with led lights.

Ellen B: Last year I got the battery wreath and garland with timer and love them. the timer feature is great, whatever time you put the timer on, the next night and nights it will come on the same time. I never had to remember to do it. The garland I have on top of my china cabinet and its High so for me to climb up there and turn it on every night would stink and the battery operated wreath on my front door was great. (I am not a big outdoor decorator, I do not have storage for all that stuff nor does me or my husband want to deal with cold weather taking down of it! my biggest pet peeve is people who keep their outdoor decorations up till March when it warms up!) so that wreath is my contribution to my streets decorations! haha

Kathy,
I almost went back in yesterday on the web site and ordered those as well but I didn't.

Ellen, Yes it is non-stick. You can bake a cake in it.

Christmas joy at my house today! I received my 6' bethlehem lights urn tree today....LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! I put it together to make sure all worked (lights) and it looks great! so needless to say I played Christmas music and left it up for awhile! I was tempted to put some of the ornaments from premiere on it to see how they looked!
now all I need to figure out from now till Thanksgiving what theme I am making it. I am thinking Mickey Mouse. or maybe just traditional ball ornaments. so many decisions! \:\)
