HI Todd,

I have my Yulelog program on both my desktop and my netbook. I have been happily taking my netbook with me and adding things as I buy them (like at KC!). Then, when I get home, I make a backup and transfer the backup files to my desktop.

This is the first time that I've tried to copy from my netbook to my desktop since the 2011 installation. I copied the three backup files from my netbook to a flash drive. Copied the files from the flash drive to the Yulelog 2 file on the desktop. Everything tells me that they are copying, replacing the backup files that are there. It all seems the same as what I had been doing previously. But, when I open the program on the desktop, the things that I just added on the netbook, and should have been on the backup, are not there.

Has something changed? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Linda

Are you doing the Restore from Backup Data Files step?

Copy the backup files from the USB Flash drive, to the YuleLog2 folder. Start YuleLog, click on the Utilities button. Click on the Restore From Back Up Data Files button. This will read your data into the new copy of YuleLog and then you should be good to go.

Oh, gosh. Senior moment big time. I forgot that I had been doing that. Thanks for the help. I'll try it with that step in.
