Hi,

If you are seeing this message, you obviously realize that they aren't working properly.

The problem is related to our domain transfer. We are working with our host to resolve the issue.

We ask that you please bear with us!

Thanks,

So the boards are back up, but there are currently about a month's worth of posts that are missing. (Feb 20-Mar 20). We are working on restoring this.

Please note that if we are able to locate the past month's data, then we will have to reset the boards again. This means any posts from approximately 10 am this morning (3/21) will be deleted.

Sean, the club March meeting was wiped out when the change happened (and maybe polls and other info). I think it's probably more important to restore the past month of posts than yesterday's and today's additions. With the exception of receiving the Dreambook, most of the posts were about the board being down or glitching anyway - so not so important. Just my two cents.
Thanks for working to restore the function and look of the board.
Some glitches have been pointed out in the other topic further down on the discussion board.

Hi All!! It's so good to be back on Yulelog!! I tried yesterday using my "favorites" but got some web page...same thing this morning but this time I did a Yahoo search to get to Yulelog. Now I just need to bookmark this again.

Sean, any word yet on our missing post? I, for one, would really like to see them restored even if we loose a few recent days. I think 21 days, including the Club meeting, outranks a few days posts of mostly receiving the Dreambook. And it's much easier to remember something that we posted in the past few days and report it than it is something nearly a month ago.

That being said, if this goes on until April 1, I think it would be better to just let the old stuff go.

Also, is the problem of not going to the first unread post in a topic going to be fixed? Or is this just the way it's going to work now?

Something that I have noticed besides what Linda said about the "first-unread-post" and having to scroll all the way to the bottom to read it is - also, when you first come to the board, the fact that after you read your first thread, the red numbers of the posts and threads that you haven't read yet, disappear and you can't tell what you haven't read anymore.

Also hoping we don't all lose our registered date and number of posts. We work really hard to get those numbers up there. LOL!

I too, wish you good luck, Sean.

ETA - I don't know if anyone has mentioned this or not (maybe in another thread) but all of my Private Message topics from the past month are also gone - Ellen, if you've replied, I'll get it when the board is fixed. \:\)

Terri, I don't have that problem. Mine still show until I close the window and come back later.

I'm not sure where I should be reporting this but when I log on, everything looks fine. Posts that I haven't read come up written in red. However, after I read the first topic that is in red, then all the other topics that were in red that I still have to read come up in black as if I had read everything.

Ditto what Terri and Sue posted.
I scroll down to the last of the unread posts and read that oldest unread post first. When I go back to the forum after reading that post, all the other unread posts above it have the designations (a number in a red parenthesis) wiped out as if I've read everything when I haven't.

I have been away and when I click on page two or three or one of the 506 pages as it is now, it never lets me past page one.

I'm having the same problem that Sue, DIana and Duluth are having, is there something that can be done to correct this?

I still can only read posts in threads on page 1. If I try to go to page 2 it just brings me back to page 1.

I'm having the same problem as described by Jersey Vike and Emma!

How much longer will be having these problems/issues?

I've never used it before, but the active topics works well.

It's next to Search on the menu bar. If you click on the arrow next to it and select Active Posts from the past 7 days, at least you can get the last week's worth of posts. That way, if we have a lot of activity, we can use that to find something that went on page 2.
