I found the 1976 dough tree treat reindeer mint with no box for .54 with tax. I was very happy. I have the shepherd from that year. I still need to find the Santa Claus and the angel. Congrats Susan! I've not come across any from that collection in thrift stores! I managed to get out again today. All seasonal items at both stores were 50% off! Three Hallmark ornaments came home with me... Sweet Talk, 1991 for $1.50 http://www.hookedonhallmark.com/1991-Sweet-Talk_p_2492.htmlAbearnathy Bearinger, The Bearingers, 1993 for $1 http://www.hookedonhallmark.com/1993-Bearingers--Abearnathy_p_2960.htmlA Pony for Christmas, ninth in series, 2006 for $2 http://www.hookedonhallmark.com/2006-Pony-for-Christmas-9_p_11669.htmlI also found three hand painted porcelain elves from The Christmas Ornament Collectors Club for $1 each. One is shown on the far left of the picture within this listing... http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHRISTMAS-ORNAME...=item2a309649d7I was losing hope in my search for hand blown ball ornaments this year when, happily, I finally found six large, 10 cm, shiny gold ornaments in their original box for $2 - (similar to these; sold by the Bon Marche throughout the 90's)... http://www.ebay.com/itm/NIB-XLrg-10-cm-1...=item2c77d36c68Another happy find was the book, The Christmas Tree: The Heart of Traditional Yuletide by Barbara Segall for $1.50... http://www.amazon.com/Christmas-Tree-Bar...+Barbara+SegallIt's hard to stay out of the stores right now! Warning to owners of 1978 Reindeer Chimes and 1980 Santa Mobile. I found both at the charity store and really wanted them. They were in the box perfect $2 each, until I picked them up. The green stuff in the bottom of each box had attached to them. I tried brushing off the crumbly stuff, but it was stuck on. So, please don't get disgusted, I spit on my finger and tried rubbing it off. That stuff had eaten into the metal! I don't know how many ornaments were packaged using this stuff, but be aware, it ruined these ornaments.

Picked up a bag with not 1, not 2 but 3 Halls family ornaments today at an antique mall that was marked down to 50 cents. They did not have their cards but all three had the corded tassel that they were issued with.

Ahh I saw the sheppards at the flea market the week before Christmas. For 5.00. Passed on them because, I thought I do not need them. I thought for 2 seconds they were hard to find but, left my phone in the car. So, was unable to confirm.
