Is the 2002 Toymaker Santa a rare one in the series? Congratulations Kindacowboy!

Tonight I stopped by the Savers store near my house. In Kansas City the Savers stores benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. Two of my friends said that they were shopping at one of the Savers stores and found things they had donated. We had to laugh about that.
I found about 5 of the 2005 Every Kid's a Star basketball ornament (MIMB) for $2.99, a 2009 Tom and Jerry: A Cat-and-Mouse Christmas (nice box, no packing, the book had a small mark on it) for $2.99, and one other one that I can't remember (it was in a bag with some other stuff I didn't want). But I couldn't forget the one that made me laugh: for $3.99 they had the 1997 Away to the Window. I left without spending any money there.
Last week I went to the Goodwill store nearest my house. They had put their Hallmark ornaments on some shelves by the cash registers. I asked the guy who was doing some stocking if they had a specific day when they stocked that display and he said they just did it when they had time and they try to put the nicer things there. I think I bought all of the Keepsake ornaments they had there (and none were back in the regular section) and I plan to go back tomorrow when I'm out running errands. For 99 cents apiece I got the 2004 Cool Decade, the 1991 and 1992 Collector's Plates without the display stands (I picked these up for a friend and if she doesn't want them I'll find a home elsewhere), the 1990 Baby Unicorn and the 1991 New Home (at the price and since it's so cute it had to come home with me even though we didn't have a new home that year). I splurged on the 1993 Lou Rankin Polar Bear by paying $1.99 for it.

I stopped at my local thrift store today and found the entire set of nativity miniatures and 2 prototyes. The 1992 Jingle Bell Santa and the never produced Bear with wheelbarrow. Entire bag was $6.00!

Today I found the first and second Mary's Angels in a grab bag at a thrift store for $7. There were 5 other Hallmark ornaments in the bag also but the Mary's Angels were by far the best things in them. Keep looking.

I had some good finds this week. My favorite was the ambassador dog in stocking in a bag with other hallmarks for $0.55. Among my finds I also found Mrs. Claus' Chair for $0.50 and a reading elf stocking holder for $0.50.

Found the 1970s Hallmark Mr. and Mrs. Snowman salt and pepper shaker set MIB for 40 cents today: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Hallmark...=item43c243a9e9Someone donated them with the salt and pepper still in them. Yuck. So, I'm soaking them overnight to get the salt/pepper all the way out. I won't be using them as salt and pepper shakers. They're just cute little statues to me. I also found a vintage cardboard cutout of a caroling girl for 10 cents. I found a picture of it: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/211176670000651360/It's the girl in the red cloak caroling next to the streetlight. I LOVE vintage cardboard cutouts, so I couldn't resist. Especially for 10 cents with no creases, color loss, etc. It's very mint.

I found the 1977 Yesteryears Angel for 99 cents. It was glued to a bright blue plastic base. I separated it from the plastic and hung her on the tree.
