By the time the $10 off $40 will be activated, they should have some Sketchbook ornaments up. So hopefully you can use it for "The Lion King."

I didn't check in this morning, figuring I'd come by tonight and figure something else out to get my order to $50, something I didn't have time to do this morning since I was running late. Guess it was a good thing I didn't try to buy Casey this morning.

Oh, and I still have my VHS editions. They are sitting in my closet while my DVD and Blu-Ray releases are on the shelves in my living room. I really need to go through and move the DVD's to free up some shelf space since I'm always out of shelf space.

Wise move not falling for the Blu-Ray upgrade. I've finally stopped buying them each time they came out with new extras. I hardly ever watch the extras, and they "new" extras stopped exciting me.

I put in the friends and family code just to see what the savings were, and was surprised that they didn't apply it to the Star Wars boxed set. That cinched it for me... no purchase today.

Got mine too but with no coupon code, the other two ornaments I had in the cart (Reluctant Dragon and Johnny Appleseed) remain unpurchased. I only with Disney knew that because of their bungle yesterday, they just lost out on some $$$.

There's one every year that's a troublemaker. Not as bad as the Dopey/Sneezy fiasco last year. Personally, I don't think it would have hurt to put him up yesterday and then put the rest of the ornaments up today, if that was their plan.

And it looks like free shipping is 75.00 today instead of the 50.00 it has been much of this year.

Free shipping threshold went up?! Bummer. I guess they're gearing up for holiday shopping. Not that I took advantage of it much, but I'll miss the $50 threshold.

Edit: It must have been a glitch since the site's now showing free shipping for orders $50+.

Casey ornament and pin are ordered. I also ordered The Rescuers ornament. That got me over $50, so I used my Disney Visa card code to get 10% off. How did I not remember about that in my all my years of ordered these ornaments? I've always used my Disney card, too.

Of course, that then took me below $50, so the free shipping with $50 wouldn't work. But I had spotted a Small World pin I simply had to have. Ordering the pin got me free shipping, and it was only $3 more than I would have paid with shipping without it. Couldn't afford not to buy it, right?

The code Ship50 worked. However, the code they were advertising on the site was Shiptoday, which was free shipping on $75. I wonder which is the glitch?

It took six months, but the Ugly Duckling ornament has finally sold out!

So, only three are still available: Reluctant Dragon, Johnny Appleseed, and Casey (of course).

Wow. It appeared to still be in stock last night when I was shopping. I was shocked to see the Duckling still for sale. I don't remember seeing the other two, but I wasn't paying close attention.

Looks like Casey was delivered today. Can't wait to see it in person! Has anyone else received theirs?

Mine should be arriving on Thursday, but I've got an ultimate Frisbee game that night, so I will be getting it very late that night.

Got him! Very nicely sculpted and painted as well as lightweight.

Another series down! Whoo hoo! Kind of hoping for a terrible series next year. Take some inspiration from that Winnie the Pooh ornament last year and have like Mickey, Donald, Tinker Bell, all of the over-used characters standing on their names! Do a Disney Channel series. Something not so tempting. wink

I really like it but, once again, Disney takes such little care in their packaging. My box is indented on the top and bottom with a slight tear on the release. Still, Casey is intact and looks fantastic!
