Mine shipped too, but did anyone else notice something different on the Disney Store website? I noticed on the little scroll of promotions near the search bar, it said shipping was free with $50 or more with the code SHIP50. It's been like that all week, and I thought it was odd that the front page didn't mention it, so I clicked on the thing, and in the fine print, it says that the promotion ends on December 31, 2017. Does this mean this is the new threshold for free shipping? First Amazon lowering their free shipping requirement to $35 to match Wal-Mart (books are still $25), and now this? Very nice, if it's true. The fine print does mention it can change, but that's what the fine print always is for promotions.
I still miss UPS doing the Disney Store packages. I could get the monthly ornament within 3 days with them. With FedEx mail service, it's a good week and a half. A week if I'm lucky. Right now, it's saying I'll get it on Thursday.

Well, this is interesting. I was browsing ebay, and I saw a seller in Japan pre-selling a limited edition Disney Store 30th anniversary ornament set that is slated for release in late March. Thought I would share the link so folks can see it: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pre-Order-Disney...P-/172563882048They're offering free shipping, and shipping from Japan is really high, so the retail's no where near this price. I do like the Chip n Dale ornaments, but I see no reason to purchase this set, so I'll pass (unless it ends up deeply discounted). Pooh's kind of cute too, but these are such generic characters that are done over and over again. I'm more into different characters that don't get products as much, which is why I love the limited ornament series.

Interesting set, I wish they were miniatures.

Got another 30th anniversary set that's apparently coming out. Pixar themed: Pixar Set I'll pass on this one too. The Up ornament looks nearly identical to last year's. Hallmark did the Buzz/Woody iconic flying pose better. Wall-E looks like they took Wall-E off the Wall-E/Eve ornament from a couple of years ago. Nemo's sculpt looks very similar to the "Finding Dory" set but with the coral added. Lightning McQueen ornaments always look the same to me (except the blue one that Hallmark did), so it's probably a repeat. Joy is a new sculpt, but it's not that great. I prefer the Hallmark ornament of her with Sadness from last year. Overall, I'm not impressed. Except with the gumption of the seller. $180? Ha ha ha! Here's a better look at the first set: Disney set I would buy the Chip n Dale ornaments if they were just a set of two. For the set? Nope. $157? Again, ha ha ha! I'm curious how many people buy these at these prices...

I would have liked the 30th anniv set better if it didn't have the Buzz/Woody ornament. I already have that one. The rest of them would have been a nice add to my collection.

Oh, check this out: http://www.disneystore.co.uk/the-reluctant-dragon-sketchbook-ornament-collection-465055039526.htmlIt says that the ornament is limited to 1100 worldwide, 100 to Europe (yet the purchase limit is twenty, so 5 people in Europe could just buy out their stock). So, this might be why the US is taking longer to sell out of these this year. I'm looking forward to getting the ornament. FedEx tracker says I'll get it on Tuesday. And I'll get my "Beauty and the Beast" rose ornament on Monday. Europe sold out of the Ugly Duckling ornament btw. Still available in the US, which is a shame since it's the best so far to me.
