Queli, I just love to see your pictures of how you incorporate the ornaments in your scenes. I see that the ornaments are your "toys", they are for me too, I just am not that creative to make scenes using them. This way you get to enjoy them all year. Thanks so much for sharing, and please continue to do so!!!!!!

I love that little eskimo curling with his friend. But I don't collect Frosty. a

I am still waiting for my ornaments from Town Crier Gifts. So I am eager to see them all. And I am taking a bunch to the event to get signed.

Oh, Queli, how delightful were all your pictures!!! I could look through them all day, marveling as I go. And not only do you have a knack for your Barbie house decorating, but also with photography! Thank you for taking time to post them here on YuleLog along with their clever captions!

I have had a crazy busy few days but I did manage to get to my Hallmark for the first day of premiere on Saturday. Our store was a bit busier than usual which I was glad to see. I grabbed my typical three series pieces: the Holiday Lighthouse, Seasonís Treatings, and Benny M. Merrimaker (Snowtop Lodge). Plus, I got the club freebie (A Glistening Gift for You) and ordered Christmas in Kansas City when I got home because it looks like it belongs with the Snowtop Lodge series (looking at it again, it seems it may be almost a recolor of 2008's Louie D. Lightly). I saw plenty more that I'm going to want to pick up between now and the ornament debut in October but I was trying to be good and stick to my budget!

All three look fantastic. I love the wreath on Benny M. Merrimaker. I hadnít looked too closely at the photos beforehand so I was glad to see that it had some texture to it. The colors in Seasonís Treatings are wonderful and the little snowman pie server is adorable. A Glistening Gift for You absolutely could have come in a smaller box but Iím not one to complain about something free.

The Christmas in Kansas City piece arrived today and it looks pretty good. I was thrilled to see that it came with the plastic insert rather than the tissue used for Benny M. Merrimaker. The detail shown on the box is pretty spot on for the actual ornament. Iíve included a photo below.

Thanks Samantha for the reminder I needed to order the Christmas in Kansas City ornament. I plan to attend the event and was debating if I should just wait and purchase in KC or order it. I decided to order it as I am happy to know it will be in hand. I figure this could be a challenge to locate given the success of the Snowtop Lodge series.

Yes, Christmas in Kansas City looks very much like Louis D Lightly. But since that is one of my favorites in the series, I just had to have it. I ordered mine from the website this weekend, and had it shipped to my store for the free shipping. Should be in Monday, just after I get back from my trip this weekend.

Recieved my package from Hallmark today and finally got to see the miniature ornaments for my pumpkin tree. So tiny, so cute. The detailing exceeded my expectations!

Great Halloween ornaments this year. smile

Half the fun of collecting is sharing with other collectors.

Congrats on your purchases. They're all winners! I really like
Christmas in Kansas City. It will round out your Snowtop Lodge
collection very nicely.

Thanks for the compliment :-) ...this is the camera that
I have currently. It's a Canon Power Shot SX600HS. It
has auto-focus. Sometimes it takes a few seconds for it
to focus but I wait patiently and then click. I also try
to lean the camera on something, if possible, to keep it
from shaking. I also take multiple photos of the
ornaments, choose the best one and delete the rest.

My PC came with a very basic editing program and once
I'm done loading the photos to my computer I crop them
as needed. Basically that's all I do. I hope this helps.

Thanks, Queli. I'm glad not the only one that still uses an actual camera. I guess I'm just a lousy photographer.

I like your photos!...yes, I use an actual camera because
more often than not I'm holding a Barbie in one hand and
the camera in the other. This is harder to do with a cell
phone even if I use the timer.

This little critter and the song, Can't Touch This by MC
Hammer, just cracked me up. Don't you just love it's stance?
