Bambi set...so tempting...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/D23-EXPO-2017-DI...00/222583063095

There is also a Marvel set.

There's hope. I believe all of the doll sets they released will be released on the Disney Store site eventually (they did a Robin Hood & Maid Marian doll set, adorable).

If you want the Marvel set, there is a BIN auction for three of the sets for less than the box price and free shipping:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Disney-Store-Mar...0-/122615504155

I enjoy the Marvel movies, but I just have no interest in the merchandise.

The Bambi D23 set and the Designer D23 set are both up for sale on the Disney Store website! Yay! $60 for resin Bambi (3 ornaments), $150 for the ceramic Designer (7 ornaments).

Bambi's worth the price, but the Designer set isn't I don't think.

I bought the Bambi set. I'm more into figural ornaments than art ones. But the Designer set is pretty. I think it goes along with the Designer dolls that are coming out. Disney got smart this year and changed the name of the Fairy Tale Designer dolls to just Designer so they can do dolls for pretty much any movie.

Bambi Set:
https://www.disneystore.com/ornaments-ba...435791/1000344/
Limited edition of 300 sets
Designer Set:
https://www.disneystore.com/ornaments-di...435937/1000344/
Limited to 300 sets

Art of Snow White merchandise is starting to show up on the site, so brace yourselves for the ornaments to appear soon, maybe.

The Bambi ornaments actually have the movie's logo on the back like the Moments That Made Disney Bambi ornament has. I think they look like they're in the same scale. I've been watching them on ebay, just in case Disney didn't put them up. wink

Thanks for the heads up, luckdragon~! I bought them, while 59 is expensive for the 3 ornaments . . . and I searched numerous of the current and completed eBay auctions and only found in the box photos.

I added the D23 intro piece by Jim Shore of the Pirate on the Cannon . . . I already have the Parks piece with the jail scene . . .

And went ahead and got the Sketchbook Bernard and Bianca . . . with the Disney Visa code at least it saved 10% . . . after getting burned on waiting on the Scrooge diving into the pile of coins last year . . .

Maybe next Monday we'll get some more Sketchbook Design for 2017. With their page promoting Christmas in July I would have hoped they'd have already introduced more designs since pretty much most of what is on there are repeats and I don't collect the "frilly dress" Princesses.

I did add two more of the Lion King reusable totes. I just love that design. AND I remembered to take a few bags to the store THREE TIMES last week. I usually forget them either at home or in the backseat. haha

They released a lot of limited edition stuff today (well, a lot of stuff in general).

Here's something to make people feel better about the ornament prices:
https://www.disneystore.com/pens-tie-fig...438962/1026201/

A $2,620.00 fountain pen? Good grief! And there are lots of expensive pens on the website. I've heard pens can get expensive, but what the heck makes this worth over two grand?

$59.95 doesn't sound so bad anymore...

Oh yeah~!!! About 2-3 pages in on "all new arrivals" there is some very, very spendy stuff. Crazy prices in the thousands of dollars.

Bambi arrived today! Really pretty ornaments. I wouldn't mind more sets like this one. Kind of like the Moments That Made Disney Bambi ornament and the Art of Animation Robin Hood ornament. I would love a Fox and the Hound ornament in a similar style where you have the setting too.
