I am trying to remove the QX at utilities but it says I cannot because the program cannot be modified?
Lets just say I need help. Thanks for any one who can assist me.

I've already removed the QX in the search box and it worked just fine. It sounds to me like something is wrong with your installation. Did you add any ornaments when you loaded the 2013 version before you loaded the 2017 update? Perhaps at least one item needs to be entered before you load 2017. Also, are you sure that the 2013 is the full version (if you didn't have Yulelog before) and not the update only version?

Rhoda: Click on the "UTILITIES" option on the opening screen. At the top right corner, there is an option to turn the "QX" on or off. At the bottom left, it tells you how to use the + and - to change the size of the screen. I do not know why your search option is not working.

Hi,
I never used 2013 only installed it yesterday when I got the 2017 - So no I did not have any data to transfer. The program says it cannot be modified so I cannot remove the QX. I have asked Sean to send me the 2017 cd. Do you think when it comes I should uninstall 2013 and 2017 and re-install 2017 starting fresh? Thanks again for your help.

Rhonda: If you are getting the FULL version of Yulelog on the 2017 CD, then yes, uninstall BOTH the 2013 and the 2017 version you have already installed. If the 2017 CD is the UPDATE only, then you need to uninstall the 2017 you have already installed because you need a FULL version already installed if you add an UPDATE. (However, I would recommend uninstalling the 2013 version even if it is the FULL version, and reinstalling it, then installing the 2017 version if it is the UPDATE only.)
