I always put the price and SKU on my documents so that people can put the paper with their Dream Book(s) and any other documentation if they want. I also like to be able to check the program I'm entering my information into so that I have accurate records. I use Yulelog and don't notice many discrepancies (I check for things like that when Sean has me check the annual update) but the other program I use doesn't always have accurate data and you can't change the original price, just the one you paid so I put the real price in the comments. I don't like having invalid information in my databases!

Thanks luckdragon and Ted. Will drop by my Hallmark tomorrow and inquire. It's a really nice collection!

I emailed Town Crier Gifts and asked them to hold one of each for me.

Great! These I can resist easily since I do not collect fairies. I know that many of you will really enjoy getting them.

I'm not sure why I'm giving Hallmark ideas for stuff that could force me to spend money, but I think a Puppy Love/Mischievous Kittens crossover monthly series would be cute. Kind of like the Mischievous and Loving ornament but other months.

I'm also still shocked that they haven't done a Mischievous Kittens Halloween ornament with a black kitten. Seems obvious. Mentioned it on Keepsake Community and Nina Aube said she was considering a Halloween ornament for them, so maybe one day.

I would love that. You have such good ideas.

I ended up getting one of those series at a 75% markdown over the weekend. The store had put the remainder of the 12 month cupcake series out, the first time they had put that one on deep markdown. It included the Baker's Dozen so I tried my luck at seeing if they would sell it to me. Yes! I had not gotten the whole series so that was a lucky find for me. I did get one more cupcake from July. That series did have a black cat and it was adorable, the best of the series for me. I truly wish the Friendly Fairies had a Halloween representative, too.

Has anyone found the 1st in series in their store?

I ask because I went to two stores this weekend and they didn't even know about the series, much less have the first in series (Love Fairy) in yet (thought it was supposed to be available on January 4th)

Just curious if anyone found it in their stores.

I'm curious too Gwenda. It seems like last year I'd have to go into the store a couple of times before they put each of the first two or three ornaments out.

Gwenda, I think Hallmark's shipping date to stores started on January 4, 2018. So they should be arriving in Hallmark stores soon. My local Hallmark store hasn't received their shipment yet.

I checked two Corporate stores in Denver over the weekend. No one had even heard of the new series.

I saw them in one independent store in Denver yesterday, and they ship. It is in Stacys Hallmark in U-Hills. Their phone number is (303) 504-0289. I checked a Corporate store this morning and they had heard of it but had not received them yet.

I got my first stunning swallow for free - (due to the problem ringing up ornaments the morning of the 26th) - the second and third for 75% off. I didn't discover this until a few nights ago. I don't feel too bad though because I buy the majority of my ornaments before Christmas. My store hasn't recieved the fairies yet, which is fine. It's going to take me the rest of this week to document all the 2017 ornaments I bought and get them packed away. I always feel so much better when everything's organized and stored.

My goal next week is to set up my group of birch trees in my cubicle at work. smile

My local club sponsor's store got the fairies and their display in Monday. A friend of mine stopped in and bought hers. I bought mine today since they only got 10 in and I didn't want to have to go shopping or calling to find one to buy.

I ended up with two Snow Buddies in my layaway and I don't think that I paid for both? At least I don't see it on my receipts and I am pretty sure I didn't pick one up later but then again I may have. wink

That's always a constant worry for me because I put a lot of ornaments on layaway at Premiere. It can work for us or against us.

Two or three years ago, I began counting (and listing) my ornaments before taking them to the register. After everything's scanned into the register, I ask for the register's count. So far we've matched, but if we didn't, I'd take the time to chase it down.

I think it helps that it takes me two to three hours to make my final decisions. By then things have calmed down quite a bit so I think they're less likely to make a mistake.

I also watch them scan. I figure if I can't track what's been scanned and what hasn't, they can't either. At that point I ask them to slow down. smile

I'm just relieved that I didn't get overcharged on the 26th. It sounds like a few people did which is unfortunate. It pays to check receipts. I try to do it as soon as I get home with my purchases, but sometimes delay on the 26th. I think my brain is too tired worrying if I got everything, or if I need to look elsewhere. smile
