Thanks for posting photos.

Is it just me, or does the Han Solo ornament actually look like Nicholas Cage?

This evening we ate at IHOP because I was craving pancakes. AND because the IHOP is located across the parking lot from a Walmart. (Tee Hee whistle )

Big disappointment to discover that Walmart didnít have the product out yetójust a big olí empty display.

LMAO. I didn't know what it was that felt off about it until I read your comment. Too funny. The sculpt looks good, I think it's the painting, which is done by hand, so you never know what the finished product will look like.

I will definitely be in search of that Porg. Want to check out a few more in person.

I like the look of the flat stuffies as well.

Why would they make a Harry Potter and Hermione Granger, but not Ron Weasley ornament? Those need to come in threes! I was hoping they'd have a couple of the fantastic beasts from the last movie. Oh well, maybe they will eventually.

btw is there a name for the style of the resin Harry Potter and Hermione ornament? You know, with the big heads and giant round black eyes, but little bodies? Is that still an Itty Bitty style, even though not plush and not decoupage? If not, what is it called? A couple of other places sold similar ornaments - I bought a Harry Potter set and a Nightmare Before Christmas set at either Hot Topic or Forever 21 last year that were similar to these.

I did see both of these at my local Walmart, but I didn't buy them. Maybe later in the year.

I stocked Toys R Usís Hallmark B-line last year. The box they were in was marked decoupage. So, I call them decoupage.

Edit: Confirmed. Hallmark calls them decoupage. Here's a BB-9E ornament on Hallmark's website, and they've labeled it as decoupage: https://www.hallmark.com/ornaments/gift-...t-1QBY7485.html

I don't know what they are officially called but I think of them as chibis. Chibi is the word used in Japan when it is a small cartoon version (I think with a big head) of something else. My own definition of chibi.

I'm not sure I'd say that its Nichols Cage, but in collectors circles it's a popular statement to say that one of hardest likeness to capture is Harrison Fords.

How nicely your WalMart is organized. The one near me last year just had the ornaments placed haphazardly on a self in a corner of the store last year.
