This year the Christmas Card Exchange will again be limited to 50 participants and the choice will be the full list or half list. Everyone will be sent via email the list in both Word and Excel formats. The list will have symbols to indicate who on the list you will mail to.

If you are interested in participating in the Christmas Card exchange, please email me your:
1. Yulelog ID name
2. full name
3. complete mailing address
4. email you want the list sent to
5. indicate if you want to receive the full list or half list [sorry, only 2 choices]

My email is: scraftyme@comcast.net . Put Christmas Card Exchange in the subject line. Please do not send me your info by private message. Double check your spelling - we don't want cards not being delivered because of errors.

Deadline for submitting your information will be November 3rd. The list will be distributed shortly thereafter so all participating know how many cards & optional inserts are needed.

I know this has been great fun for everyone who participated in the past and many of us look forward to receiving the many different cards (and the unexpected inserts) in the mail.

I've never done this before. Could someone explain it in more detail please? If I participate do I send our family card to people on the list? Or does it need to be an Hallmark card? And what "inserts" are involved? Sorry...I'm just curious before I sign up. Thanks for being patient.

Kiz: You sign up to send a card to everyone on the list or half the list (the half will be designated when you receive the list). It can be any card--does not have to be Hallmark. The "inserts" are little gift extras that can be included in the card--package seals, recipes, bookmarks, whatever you choose to send--and the "insert" is totally optional.

I sent in my info.

The trip to the mailbox to check for new cards adds so much to the holidays. So glad the tradition continues!

It is so much fun to go to the mailbox in December and get cards to make the holidays brighter. Otherwise it is bills, bills and more bills.

How many are signed up now? This is very fun. Anyone who hasn't done this and is pondering, don't let the idea of inserts scare you from doing it. That is completely optional. It's so fun to get cards and holiday greetings from around the country. Such a variety and just so festive. smile

I agree, inserts not mandatory, entirely optional. Who isnít excited to get a Christmas card!!! They donít even have to be Hallmark. Once you do it, youíll ask, why didnít I participate in this years ago!

As of 8pm CST tonight, Sunday, 10/20, we have 25 signed up.

Normally I do not look at my email every day, but during Christmas card exchange time, I do at least every other day, so ifyou have sent me an email, you should have received a reply back from me acknowledging your sign-up.

Deadline is approaching... Don't regret not signing up.
