Is Hallmark offering the large musical plush snow people this year or just the small plush ornament, the 5-piece interactive musical set, and the puzzle? Will the musical set be offered as individual pieces or just as the collector's set for $129? Maybe someone here has access to a catalog to see what is being offered. Thanks.

Hi Anne,

There is a puzzle, there is the techno plush, there is a annual book for $5.99, there is also a 15th Anniversary book the contains all of the previous years stories. You can purchase the individual snowmen, or the boxed set which includes the trees.

Erika, that is so nice of you to post all those links. I have a lot of these animated plush and they have become a favorite part of decorating. I am amazed how well they have lasted after all these years.

I like this set, but it is only battery-powered and takes 15 AAA batteries! I'm surprised that a Magic Cord or Power Cord can't be used.

Someone posted that the puzzle for this year was The Mary's Angels, on here they show the plush snowmen. Which one is correct?

Moley and AnneTX your welcome. I like when links are included, makes things easier.

Joyce,
I would say it looks like 2 puzzles this year smile

regarding batteries, typically Home depot has a sale on Rayovac batteries (AA and AAA) on black Friday. I want to say its like a 24 pack for $9. Maybe there are more in the package, but I typically buy a pack a year and those batteries last me 2-3 years in the plush (take them out every year).

Yes, there are two puzzles this year. I forgot to mention the plush snowmen puzzle because I was only interested in the Mary's Angels. Looks as though there are more collectors on Yulelog interested in the plush snowmen one.

15 AAA batteries! That's ridiculous and what a waste.

15 batteries? Oh my. I was really tempted by this snowman et, but guess I'll skip it after all. My husband already complains about all the ornaments that require batteries (he is the official battery loader/emptier since I have a hard time with the little screwdriver).

It looks like each piece takes 3 batteries which doesn't sound unreasonable and the batteries are included. Eventually you would have to replace the batteries, but 3 per piece seems typical. Then again, I like to use battery operated candles so am used to picking up batteries in quantity.
