Nice find! I love the Calico mouse in all three versions and always perch one on a Night Before Christmas sign I hang on the wall.

Thats awesome! Im a sucker for little Christmas mice!!

Yesterday at Goodwill there was a bag full of small porcelain and handmade dolls. Inside was the 1983 cloth Katybeth Angel. The whole bag was $3. I left it for someone else to purchase but it was the first Hallmark I have spotted in a long time!

Hey everyone. Glad to see the thread has been restarted. Christmas has hit the thrift stores here. Tonight I came home with 24 Hallmark ornaments and a stocking hanger for $80 and I left a lot behind. Also found two Mitford enamelware pieces: a large bowl (which would be good for popcorn) and a mug.

If you haven't visited your thrift stores recently, now is the time to go!

More details later...

Lisa

I found a Kris Penguin Anything for you the other day for $1.00. Needs some cleaning up and the box had tape all over it but still in decent shape overall.

I don't remember this ornament so not sure I have it. So happy to have it now.

Yes Grandma Lise, that would be it. Love the little penguins so couldn't pass him up even though I have 2 already.

Today I found these

The boxed ornaments were $2.95. I know some I may have been able to pick up for a $1 but I don't have any of them but the lamb. And I find it adorable! A flock of two is fine with me.

The Hershey Alder ornaments and the mouse merry miniature were $1 each and the LE Seasons Treatings was $3.

1989 Festive Year in box for .75

I also got a couple of non Hallmark acrylic ones and a Russ metal wreath with a sleigh hanging in the middle of it

I forgot to post my finds from last Saturday. Can't quite remember the prices, but I bought these from various thrift stores:

-1986 Mr. and Mrs. Claus #1 Merry Mistletoe Time (my favorite find of the day)
-1993 Tin Blimp
-1995 Barbie #2 Solo in the Spotlight
-1996 Glad Tidings
-2000 Tending Her Topiary

Even though I know that Mr. and Mrs. Claus is a relatively cheap series and the first isn't worth much, I was happy to find it since it's on my backcollect list (one day, no rush to backcollect the series). I've debated backcollecting the Barbie series too. I only had Enchanted Evening (which is my favorite vintage Barbie outfit, I have a few vintage dolls and a small collection of vintage outfits, including the original version of Enchanted Evening that has the three small sequins instead of the flower...even though I find the vintage fashions with real fur to be a bit disturbing. Yes, they used real fur in the original Barbie outfits) before, so it's nice finding another.

I also found a cute Vermont Country Store 1000 piece puzzle called "Dog Bookshelf" for 99 cents. I cannot find a photo of it online, and it's still in the trunk of my car (not going out there now to take a photo). But, it's got dogs among books, and the books all have dog-puns based off classic books and/or their authors. I've been lucky recently with good puzzles for 99 cents at Goodwill.

Today, I found 2000 Mischievous Kittens #2 in box, 1995 On the Ice, and this vintage Christmas star from the 1940s or 1950s:
https://picclick.com/Vintage-Noma-Lighted-Star-Christmas-Tree-Topper-w-Box-163100783186.html

The box is in better shape than the one showed there. Needs a bulb. Not sure if I'll use the star, but I loved the box enough to pay the $3.50.

luckdragon, that's a beautiful vintage star. Not sure how I'd do it but I think is would serve as a way to provide light for a table top display, perhaps of favorite ornaments. Love it's soft glow.

Found it: https://www.puzzlewarehouse.com/Dog-Bookshelf-vc158.html

As for the star, I probably will leave it in its box since the box is so charming, so they’ll be displayed together. Maybe I’ll seek out a bulb too...

I've never actually ordered from them. I've only ordered puzzles from Amazon and Ceaco. Ceaco has that new thing where you can select from several images and choose the piece count. Really nice since they had an image that they use on a 1500 puzzle, and I've wanted that puzzle for a while, but 1500 puzzles are too big for the space I have to build. So, I got to choose that image in a workable 1000 piece. Also got a more "kiddie" image used on 300 piece puzzles in a 1000 piece size. I was going to work one of them, but chose to work this Ravensburger instead. Love the image!

https://smile.amazon.com/Ravensburger-Fairytale-Fantasia-1000-Pieces/dp/B00HFR4PHU/

Beautiful puzzle. The Ravensburger ones often are. I have only found 1 Ravensburger puzzle in a thrift store, and it was one I finished about a week ago. Ravensburger puzzles are expensive, but their quality is amazing.
