Don't feel bad about not being able to get a Pretty Parrot button. Even here in KC some of our store didn't receive the button. It is funny that it seems to be very hit and miss as other stores did receive their shipment. Go figure.

My store gave me both of the buttons. I went to debut when the store opened at 10am, 2nd in line, to get the limiteds and then had to run a kiddo to dance practice. I was able to get 1 of the limited season treating's and the Jiminy cricket, my store didn't have very many. They didn't give me my buttons with the purchase. I had to then run a kiddo to dance practice and didn't make it back to the store till almost 1PM and that's when I picked up my wish list and I got the last pretty parrot button!

but I'm glad I got them both and sorry for those who didn't get there's

Considering this is part of the KOC membership . . . I've posted on the HMK Keepsake Ornaments facebook page but not heard anything.

Before going to my sponsor store where I do the majority of my business, I went to two independent stores and was not offered any buttons and had forgotten about them so did not ask. At "my" store, I only remembered them because they had a bowl sitting out with the Ho Ho Ho button and I asked if I could have two and if they had the parrot button....they did so they very kindly gave me two of each. Love my store!!

Hallmark really seems to be late on shipping product this year. Many stores were still receiving ornament shipments on Friday before Debut.

I had a store who did not receive their Parrot pins and they did not offer to take our names or any kind of customer service. We went to a corporate store who gave us the Pretty Parrot pins.

I’ve heard of quite a few stores who did not receive their Season’s Treatings, Jiminy Cricket or other limited quanitity ornaments.

Seems like there was some frustration!

I agree. I asked for extra buttons in case someone wanted them and they said they didn't have many. And they ran out of the limiteds quickly so I am thinking they didn't get many. I was in the store by 8 am and did not see any on the shelf.

The store I went to gave you a parrot button if you bought the parrot ornament. The other button was given if you made an ornament purchase.

Taj, that's not how it was supposed to happen.

A friend of mine called me and asked if I had the “coupon” for the buttons? I told her that there were not any coupons for the buttons. She told me she asked the store she went to, and the clerk told her that you had to have a coupon for buttons. My friend told her she was a KOC member and she had her card and the clerk once again said they were only available with the “coupon”. I think Hallmark needs to have more communication with their store managers so they can be better prepared. I do understand that most of the clerks are not collectors, and many of them have no interest in the ornaments and are only there to get their minimum wage paychecks. So sad to see it going to this. I remember as a child going with my mom and just being in awe of the Hallmark store. It was a treat to get to go to the Hallmark store. The music was always pleasant and festive, now we are lucky to even be acknowledged that we stopped in.

Did everyone get the button given out for Gift of Memories Weekend? It was the 20th Anniversary of Mischievous Kittens.
