I picked up the hat at goodwill. I think the ornaments look very nice with it!

And the other Halloween. I think I posted the barn find from GW earlier. The other accessories are Dept 56 (little tree and walkway) and JoAnn (small fence and apple basket). The Scarecrow was originally on the walkway fence but it broke off so I just propped it up on the other fence. And you know the other items!

Thank you the sign came for Dollar General! I also have a blue one with sunflowers but summer passed me by before I could get a late summer decor set up!

I am not sure I love the leaves on the birdhouse though! But really have too much other things to do beside messing with it!

I like the leaves on top. They tie in with the color at the base. Maybe you should add a few more and some other fall floral like wheat sheaves or pinecones. Naw, it looks good like you have it.

I am always struck by how plain it looks to me in the pictures. I think it looks better in person. I wonder if other people think that about their decor pics?

All the time, they think it. I look at your things and wish I had that decorator touch and yet I get some compliments on some of my own even though I think they don't measure up. People are either very kind or you and I are better than we think. I really like that tree with the lights, too. I found one on Amazon that has an electric connection and works as a timer, too. It also has Fall foliage. It is small but there have never been a lot of Hallmarks with Fall ornaments anyway so it works well with the few I have. I will post a pic when it isn't storming here.

I love your hat find. The ornaments look great with it, especially the owl hanging from the point of the hat. That skeleton cat is a hoot. The green pumpkins are a beautiful complement to the arrangement.

I had not noticed the autograph before. That was a wonderful addition to your fabulous bird display. I got a picture of my autumn tree today. What I like about it the most is that it is on a timer even when the cord option is used. So it comes on and lights for 4 hours a day, no battery required. It also came with the leaves and acorns attached. I did not have many Thanksgiving ornaments but I had enough to give the tree the Hallmark flair. I used a couple Merry Miniatures and just wired them around the neck of the ornament.

Oh I love that it is on a timer. Turning them off is kind of a drag and I am not at the office every day and hubby never remembers to turn the lights on. He got so mad at himself last Christmas as he forgot to turn the tree on most days! If I get a rotating tree stand I will put it on a timer.

A bit late, I know. But I've been enjoying everyone's displays so much, I just had to share mine too. It helps that I had some free time tonight and was successful in resurrecting my old Photobucket account. smile

Halloween displays - (including the Boney Bunch of course!) - thrift store finds, and a little Harry Potter...

Click here, sit back, and enjoy the slideshow - (commentary is located above each picture but you have to move your curser near the top of each picture to to see each picture's title)...

What I found most interesting is how much co-workers likes and dislikes varied. Thankfully everyone found something that they really liked. Whew!

I am sure you got more likes than dislikes from the coworkers. That is an outstanding display.

Thanks Queli and Moley. I work in the court system so my co-workers are a highly principled group. Decorating is minimal, almost non-existent, yet we have quite a few talented, creative types.

I decorate my cubicle year round. Here's last year's modest, but fun Halloween and Christmas displays...

Here's this year's St. Patty's Day and Easter decorations...

Gels do not photograph well in interior spaces, so here's another view...

And here's my Easter display...

Some responded best to the "happy" displays...the stacked pumpkins and ghost garland, and the Pumpkin Witch, Ghosts, and Pumpkin display, especially its lit Haunted House backdrop. Not sure, but based on one conversation I overheard, I believe two of the staff really did not like the Boney Bunch display and the Toad, Cat, and Condor portraits. While at the same time, one person responded best only to the Boney Bunch Display, and the Cat portrait. The "Moonlit Manor" display with Ghost and Candelabra, and the Toad, Cat, and Condor portraits, seemed to be popular with most, while one person only liked the portraits. Some commented immediately, some didn't for weeks which made me nervous because my intent is to bring a fun, whimsical energy to the office, not to offend in anyway. It was interesting. I think next year, the staff will enjoy my displays more now that they've seen the full range of my decorating style. smile

I can't remember if I shared this last year or not but here's a slideshow of the Halloween Party for poster distribution volunteers... http://smg.photobucket.com/user/SilverFoxCPF/slideshow/Boney%20Bunch/Halloween%202017
