We've entered that time of year, between buying ornaments and waiting for the new DreamBook.

- Signup for 2019 KOC - done
- Waiting to see Products for KOC event - any day now.
- sign up for KOC event - on the fence about attending, I haven't gone since the end of regional events.
- ongoing Sneak Peeks - always look forward to them.
- April 1st - finally the online DreamBook.
- April 1st - KOC exclusive Product Shop open - I think I'm buy both ornament that are available. Remember to use GC certs.
- Early April (hopefully by April 6th) - DreamBox arrival.
- To Be Continued: ……………..

I have to cut back this year. I'm both looking forward to April 1 and dreading it.

I've been cutting back the last few years, but at a much slower rate then I should.

Hallmark has been very quiet. No sneak peeks, no event product shop yet, basically no info from them.

I'm starting to think we are going to get a post about something running late. Could be the event signup, could be the DreamBox.

I hope it's nothing and they are just busy.

I was cutting back so well two years ago and then there was last year. I more than tripled the previous year. Oh no, have to start cutting back again. I cannot attend the convention so there is some hope there at least. I would like to see many nice surprises for the attendees. It will be fun to peek in on them this Tuesday.

Interested in what the event product is, but I'm really looking forward to the new DreamBook.

I began my 2019 ornament collecting last Friday(March 1). I think my store is a test store to see how well ornaments sell this early. I brought home this year's Beauty of Birds (Summer Tanager)and the miniature bird (Eastern Bluebird). Also available were the Fairy Messenger (Sweet Pea) and one from the Butterfly series. I seem to recall someone telling me that there were five ornaments available but I only remember those 4. I also was told the ornaments tie in with Spring. I used a $20 Rewards coupon that I had received...if I get another, I will buy the fairy and butterfly.
The store did have the 2019 stamp card but depending on how many ornaments you get, buying early may take away from adding bonus points to your total purchase on July Premiere. That would be the only down side that I can see from buying early...on the up side would be spreading your expenses out.

Hallmark has posted a photo of the Dreambook cover. The pickup truck with the tree in the back looks cute.

Sabine,

I believe that's the first in a new series. And yes, it does look very cute.

I think that is the miniature that Tammy Haddix showed us at her signing last year.

Thanks, beaglebabes and Mark. Happy that the pickup truck is miniature but not so happy that it is a series lol.

I wasn't aware it was a miniature, but looking at the tease of the cover, I was wondering about that. I might be willing to give it a shot if its a mini. I hope we see the second before I have to decide on buying the first.

Same with the new nutcracker series. Because I really can't start any new series.

A couple of years ago I decided I don't NEED all of the ornaments in a series and will only buy the ones I really like. One exception was going to be Snowtop Lodge - this year will test me because for some reason I don't really like it. I do like the anniversary one

I felt really good about skipping series entries. I prized the ones I really liked and the others didn't crowd into the grouping. If I like a second in the series, I do not try to go back and get the first. I make my own series by grouping like ornaments together.

I still can't get off of the series bandwagon entirely. I have decided on some that is I do not like them that well I will wait until after Christmas or secondary market.

I saw the second truck on Digital Dreambook and it is really cute.

It's not a mini, but it's much smaller then a regular size ornament. I guessing Hallmark is going to make smaller sized ornaments instead of jacking up the prices some more.

Like the old half gallon(64 oz) of ice cream is now 48 oz. for the same price or more then the half gallon.

Having the Hallmark wishlist has helped survive the collecting slow period.

With all the fun looking at the 2019 ornaments, I still ordered the two April KOC exclusives yesterday. I used $12 in Gold Crown Certs.

They would not let me use my gold crown certificates. They said they could not be used on club ornaments.
