Over the past few years I have picked up a few Halloween ornaments, and I bought the 3 Monster Mash ornaments at Premiere. But, I've never had a good place to display them.

Yesterday I received a 4 foot black Christmas (or should I say Halloween) tree from Amazon. So, this year we will have our first Halloween tree.

I am in the process of looking for a Halloween-themed tree skirt for it.

I took the tree out of the box to make sure it was OK, and one of our cats started rubbing against it just like he does with our Christmas trees. I hope I didn't confuse him so that he thinks it's almost Christmas. smirk

I'm turning my Halloween tree into a permanent Harry Potter tree, so I guess I'm in the market for another black tree. I'm thinking of hanging my Halloween ornaments from the mantle this year instead of a tree. I have several of the Hallmark tabletop sets and trees and should be able to hang the rest from the table runner or garland and lights I'll run with them.

I am not that great at sewing anything, but I did a pretty decent candy corn fabric tree skirt. You can also just wrap some pretty Halloween/Fall fabric around the base, I have down that for many of my trees and it looks great.. there are so many cute fall fabrics available right now..

Also, the dollar tree some times puts out ornange and or purple 50 count Halloween lights

Not doing anything for Halloween, but starting the main Christmas tree in early October.
