The postcards sent saying you can get free leaf plates also says you have to spend $60. Pass on both.

With the price of some of the ornaments this year, I'm not surprised the threshold has gone up.

I got my invitation to the VIP today in a nice card. I am very surprised since I usually get that 1 to 2 weeks ahead of the November event. I also got and invite in a nice card to the Debut. They could have saved postage and sent them together.

I may not get the invite this year, I didn't use mine last year and I have cut way back on ornaments.

I got my VIP invite. The Hallmark postcard states you need to spend $60, but the local store outer card says you need to spend only $50.

I guess I'll ask at Debut which amount it is.

I received an email from Hallmark apologizing for mailing out the VIP invites too early.

I don't think they mailed them too early, I think Hallmark mails us stuff too close to events.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a VIP invite this week. I hadnít expected one at all since this is my first year shopping at this store and I spent hardly anything at my old Hallmark store since I missed premiere last year and also didnít do any after Christmas shopping. Will have to see what I still want to buy come November.

I don't expect a VIP invite either. I just don't buy the way I used to and the prices for ornaments are ridiculous.

Mine arrived last week. It was an invitation with a two-sided insert describing the offers for the weekend. Here is a picture of the insert:

Who's attending the VIP event this weekend and spending the $60 to get the bag?

I will be, but only because the 2020 KOC membership kit counts toward the $60.

Can we use reward certificates and gift cards towards the purchase of the 2020 Membership box and still qualify for the VIP bag?

I have no problem with the $60 minimum. I always have at least that much to purchase so it isn't a burden. I still have 2 wish list items coming out this weekend and they total 30.00. I also have a very long list of ornaments I haven't purchased yet. I figure 2 heritage ornaments and the 2 wish list ornaments take care of the minimum. I also have a $20 certificate to spend, so I'm sure I'll add a 3rd Heritage. I usually try to save about 200.00 worth of ornaments to get the other freebies this weekend. I may stop as 125 as I really don't need the serving dish.
