According to the September Local Club News, the KOC Community will be closed for access on December 31, 2020. It is being replaced by a members-only Facebook page. That is where you can access sneak peeks, stories , videos and more. I don't "do" Facebook. I am really disappointed frown

This sounds like a cost-cutting measure to me. They've been posting things on Facebook already and now they won't be paying to host a bulletin board.

Reading things on Facebook will be easier to do than reading the Community. I've never liked how you had to wade through previous posts to see the new things.

I set up an account for whoever from my local club didn't want to build a profile for themselves so they could see the Facebook interviews that were shared since the in-store events were held. My friend used it and I don't know if anyone else has but if it gets hacked I'll just set up another one.

I was getting more and more used to the Keepsake Community. I will miss it. And I was starting to move away from Facebook.

Not happy with the decision to shut down the Keepsake Community.

I, too, will miss the Hallmark Keepsake Community ... I thought it seemed like in recent time it was beginning to pick up better with more participation by collectors. Wish the Hallmark staff would participate more with notices, timely updates, sneak peeks, etc.

I do not like this move by Hallmark ... It's another disappointment by them.

I'm seriously considering quitting Hallmark KOC altogether ...

I used the community board the first year. Nobody was there and everything is hard to find.

By the 2nd year more people were there but it is still a pain to use.

Facebook will be a private group. It is much easier to use.

More and more people are leaving Facebook. I think it's a bad decision to shut dowm the Keepsake Community.

I had a hard time with the Community. I would go to it occasionally, but it was always hit or miss what I could find. I'm used to FB. I think I will like it better.

Hope you all will share the news here. I choose to not use Facebook as a social media platform. Sorry that Hallmark is going in this direction.

I've been on Facebook for over 12 years, but it's not the same as it was back then. Too political lately, I think Hallmark should limit there use of it.
