It's snowing this morning!!!! "Bother!" said Pooh. I have been pottering in my garden for weeks, planting my tubs, getting the soil ready, buying my annuals....... Sigh!

This really is unheard of weather for this time of year. I guess I should be glad that I don't live in Calgary, Alberta. They are shivering under more than a foot of snow with more to come but then Calgary is known for its freaky weather. (Sorry Cowtowners!)

How's the weather where you live?

Perfect. Warm, sunny, but not too hot. Nice cool breeze, but not chilly. Just perfect. And there are beautiful spring blooms everywhere.
Was driving around on the weekend with the convertible top down. Wheeeeeee. Josh went to a pool party yesterday and came back a little pink.
Zach and I stopped and smelled the roses all the way to the credit union and back this afternoon.

We are having a very rainy spring! Ready for some sunshine, but it sure has made every thing green! My yard is growing like crazy, and my daylilies look like they will do really great this year!

It has been very nice these past three days. We had heavy rain in the early morning and by the time I woke up, it was gone.

It's the pits here, too, Sue! (guess that's because I just south of you )

It was a balmy 34 degrees when I left exercise class at 11:30 this morning! BRRRR!!!

To my Kauai-aclimated body it was a MAJOR BRRRR!!

I will sure be glad when it warms up! - We haven't gotten around to putting anything new in the yard yet, thank heavens. DH did seed some grass that might germinate in July if this weather keeps up! :lol

We've been having unusually hot weather (89' today!) here, even for Houston, and we need rain too. Quite a switch from you, eh Sue???

I can describe our weather so far with one word - RAIN - . We have been under a flood watch for days. The farmers can't get in the field. Roads have been flooded. Need I say more. Like Todd, our grass is growing, and my daylilies look wonderful.

Sue,
The weather here in south Louisiana is quite different from yours.

Even by Louisiana standards it has been very hot the past couple of weeks. It is too early for temperatures close to 90. And it is dry. I just heard a weather report a couple of days ago and we had only 1 day of measurable rain during the month of April. Our next water bill is going to be very high. We have been watering several days a week to prevent newly planted plants from dying.

Like I always say, extremes are bad! You are too cold for this time of the year and we are too hot...

About 24 hours later: still raining, windy, thunder, lightning. We are under the following: Severe Thunderstorm Warning, Flood Warning, Tornado Watch...and the list goes on. On the bright side, it's great weather for getting caught up on YuleLog...assuming the power stays on!
