We traveled from Houston, TX to Natchez, MS to celebrate Christmas with my inlaws. My husband ended up going to the ER on Christmas Eve and admitted to a hospital 1 1/2 hours away for emergency surgery to repair a hernia. He had the surgery on Christmas morning. Thankfully the doctor released him Monday and he was able to return to his parents' house. Naturally, Monday was spent at the hospital and driving my hubby home, so there was no way I could go Hallmark shopping. The closest stores are 2 hours away (in a differnt direction from the hospital, or I would have been sorely tempted to head on over there!! LOL!) so I won't be getting to any of them. And we won't be returning to Houston until Friday.
I was fortunate to find a few that I wanted at a small local bookstore, and I called a member of my local club that works at a store in Houston and she was able to get two for me. I really need the following ornaments though. If anyone has extras or sees one they could pick up for me, please let me know. I would really appreciate it.
Proud Giraffe Carousel Ride
Lionel No. 717 BOXCAR
Keepsake Kids: Three Kings from Afar Set
Thanks so much for any help in finding these ornaments. I hate to be missing these series pieces.
