Upgrading to a new version from Version 2.XX

This is a four-part process:

1. Open the older version of YuleLog, go to the Utilities Menu by clicking on the Utilities Button at the Opening Screen, and click on Prepare for Program Upgrade. This will create a copy of your data in a 3 files called FILE1.FP3, FILE2.FP3, and FILE3.FP3.

2. Copy the new files from the upgrade disk into the YuleLog2 folder on your hard drive. This will replace the older versions

3. Start the new version of YuleLog, go to the Utilities Menu, and click on the Perform Program Upgrade button. Your data will be imported from the above-mentioned files into the new version of YuleLog. Click on the Continue button on the opening screen to view your collection.

4. After verifying that your collection has been upgraded, delete the FILE1.FP3, FILE2.FP3, and FILE3.FP3. files from the YuleLog2 folder.
